I know it’s heartbreaking to have the pool closed during extreme heat but let me tell what’s more heartbreaking. The coping was pulled out by unsupervised children. The coping is what helps keep the lining in place. When I got to the pool Sunday morning the lining at the steps had fallen down and water was getting behind the liner. Behind the liner is a wooden frame. Water and wood together no bueno. The pool must be closed till this repair is done. I fear the wooden frame, which is already collapsing, will not last another season. All we can do is keep limping along. Every property owner PLEASE be vigilant of our community properties and help keep it safe, clean, and operational.
